Guang Ming (G.M.) Whitley writes whatever she feels like writing. So far, she’s authored a futurist trilogy, a Chinese postpartum recovery guide, a horror serial, works of literary and science fiction, over a hundred reviews of a cappella albums for the Recorded A Cappella Review Board, and articles for the Girls State Alumnae Foundation, where she serves as President. This list doesn’t include G.M.’s scintillating lab reports and academic articles, which she wrote while earning her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
In addition to writing, G.M. lectured at the University of Chicago and practiced intellectual property law in Los Angeles before retiring from law to become the Chief Operating Officer of the Whitley Household. Her children’s sci-fi middle names are, respectively, Aenea, Ender, Seldon, and Deckard. After a five-year stint in Anchorage, Alaska, G.M. now makes her home in Charleston, South Carolina.
